Erin Sliwowski
Erin has been a dog lover her whole life and grew up with several family dogs. She adopted her dog, Bentley, in November 2019 and quickly became aware of his fearfulness and reactivity. Erin worked with Bentley on building his confidence and comfort in his environment and around other dogs. She became interested in agility classes as a way to continue Bentley’s socialization and to build her relationship with him. They began agility classes in January 2021, immediately fell in love with the sport, and have been taking classes since.
Erin attended D’Youville College in Buffalo where she earned her Bachelors in Human Occupation and her Masters in Occupational Therapy. She currently works full time as a pediatric, school-based occupational therapist helping young students with disabilities. Erin grew up swimming and turned to coaching after graduating high school to teach children and build their love for the sport.
She is excited for the opportunity to work with all of you in developing your relationships with your dogs through agility. In her free time, Erin enjoys hiking, camping, and paddle boarding, which Bentley happens to enjoy as well!
