Chelsea O’Connor-Rosiek
Chelsea holds a Master's Degree in Counseling & Human Development from St Bonaventure University and works at the University at Buffalo. She grew up with huskies and labradors & in the world of horse showing and training. Animals have always been Chelsea's special interest.
In 2020, Chelsea got "her" first dog, a little Shiba Inu named Hera. Hera had her first training session at 9 weeks old with The Pet Professor. Chelsea quickly fell in love with dog training & realized how much Hera's well-being and success relied on their relationship and trust. Hera now has her Advanced & Urban Canine Good Citizen titles, AKC trick dog titles, and has begun trialing in Nosework and FastCAT. Chelsea also trains in agility with her young golden retriever Ziggy with hopes to trial one day. Beyond that, Hera and Ziggy are the center of Chelsea's world! They're her adventure buddies, best friends, and emotional support.
Chelsea began assisting with Reactive Rehab, Adolescent A*holes, and puppy classes at SUPERNOVA in 2023. Chelsea believes compassion is the key to success in dog training. She uses ethical, effective, and evidence-based training methods to build trusting relationships between dogs & their people. Her hope is to help humans and their dogs develop their relationship to sustain success in realizing their training goals.
